I've had severe chronic migraines for 60+ years, now complicated by Long Covid & vestibular issues. I've tried literally every available med, surgery, & alternate therapy. Dr. Piker has a completely different approach. Rather than trying to "fix" my symptoms, he's ordered a full spectrum of referrals, tests, & labs, in order to have definitive results to determine the root cause! Dr Piker is AMAZING! So very knowledgeable about migraines. I have had several sets of occipital injections that always are 100% effective in keeping migraines/pain down for 4-6 months each time. After different medications we finally found success with monthly EMGALITY injections and NURTEC dissolvable tabs (which my old neurologist had never heard of?!). Hope he never retires.
I have suffered with chronic migraines with aura for 10 years. It has filled about 50% of my life during that time with So Much Pain.
