I've been getting counselling here for a couple of months. And all I can say is they are great. The receptionist always greets everyone with a smile and a helpful manner. Therapist's April Davis is the greatest in my opinion. She takes time to understand what going on. She has a wonderful caring personality. Never judgemental. Offers clear precise advice. Everyone I've met at the Shaye Park location been wonderful. I would recommend them to anyone.
The place itself is not bad. I can't really comment much on the therapist since I only met with her once for the intake appointment, but it's extremely difficult to schedule a follow-up appointment. Every time I do schedule one, they always end up calling me to reschedule. It's very frustrating, especially if you have a debilitating mental illness and need treatment as soon as possible.
Been seeing miss Karen R Goodwell. She has been very helpful in my battle to process going frim being strong and healthy to chronically I'll. I am a very prideful in nature and didn't want to accept it. A major struggle. She talked to me with lots of care and though behind how to help me cope and learn to live with my new existence. Very careing, down to earth and helpful as well as knowlegable. Been a blessing finding such a quality therapist. Took my daughter here and everything was good with the mental health service. Daughter goes off to college and she had to book a 'zoom' appointment. I made sure my daughter was on the zoom meeting,but the doctor was late and it messed the whole system up. Needless to say, my daughter was not able to get back on the call. So they charged us as a 'no show'. This is even after I spoke with the office manager and explained the situation. They will not work with you on this.
