Time for damage control... you may want to figure out how to heal the wound you just made.
I will no longer spend my money there after how you treated Pete. No one should spend their money at a place that doesn't care about their employees.
What a disappointment to learn that you have decided to terminate PJ. He is well liked by customers and employees alike, and many of us shopped there because of his great customer service and knowledge. His choice to close early for the safety and health of employees and customers during our local fire catastrophe, shows his work ethic: putting people first. I only started doing business at IM because of PJ. Because of the way, timing and reasons he was fired, I will never do business at any IM store again.
I find it hard to believe that the upper management is so into themselves instead of their employees. You couldn’t pay me enough to be part of or patronize your supposed home town store. I’d shop guitar center before I would walk through your doors. Shame on you for letting DJPJ go and right before Christmas too. PJ is a great guy
Shame on you. Way to turn the local MUSIC community against you, when you'll probably really need the support. My guess is it's not gonna be great for a MUSIC store...
Support those who support us! PJ is very supportive of us musicians! He did what he thought was right during a natural disaster and decided as a manager. To fire him for it is unacceptable!
Wow this place just made a huge mistake and lost my business and many, many others. They fired a well liked, popular employee who brought business in the doors. And why did they fire him, because he made the right, caring decision to close the store while Ventura was going through one of the worst disasters to hit the area. The safety of his fellow workers and costumers was his priority. Shame on Instrumental Music you don't belong in this great city anymore.
