I have no idea why there is a wait list to receive treatment as they seem to accept very few clients. Unless you walk on water don't waste your time seeking help here. This was a huge disappointment for me.
The Anxiety Clinic/OCD clinic was life changing for me. Dr. David Tolin and his staff of psychologists, therapists are some of the best in the world at ERP, treating ocd, anxiety, phobia, trauma. The therapy is not easy and can be very challenging and you will be challenged because anxiety/ocd will try to keep you in a state of avoidance and keep you from living the life you want. It is highly researched evidence based therapy that is very effective if you are willing to put in the work. Highly recommend.
I was very surprised by the uncaring and not at all helpful intake call I just had. The person I spoke to has basically left me, someone she said needs an accelerated help program, to fend for themself and "do an internet search" to find a place. She was completely dismissive.
After months of waiting, I finally got a call for an appointment. The intake appointment took 3 hours, then another follow up which took 1.5 hours. None of which were scheduled, they just called me and expected me to be available. First in person appointment they messed up my time, which happens, but didn’t really seem to care I drove all the way only to be sent away.
