My wife saw Dr. Neubauer at Insight Therapy for approximately nine months in 2024. While seeing Dr. Neubaur, she reported sexual abuse by a previous hypnotherapist. Dr. Neubauer insinuated it had been consensual because “you cannot be made to do anything under hypnosis that you do not want to do.” My spouse has never said that it happened under hypnosis, and even if it did, the power dynamic in therapy renders consent for sexual contact impossible, as recorded in therapeutic ethical codes, federal court decisions, and state ... read more
I recently met Mrs.Abby, I absolutely love the professionalism, fun personality, patience, kindness and understanding with her, she made my first session very welcome, warm and safe. Also! I have struggled with rewriting this review, but I am ready to come out and say it: My therapy here - in my opinion, which the 1st Amendment protects - was abusive. I cannot disclose everything, so I will share the things I feel most urgent about, so others might avoid harm like I experienced.
