I had a 6pm appointment and got there around 4:15, I asked how much would I need. I was quoted 115.00 so I said ok and proceeded to hang around for one hour and a half. The last perm I had received was 115.00 as well so that seemed right. I do not have very much hair, actually the same amount as last perm. When it came time for my appointment, the hairstylist told me I was told the wrong amount and that it would be 230.00. I have never paid that amount and never will. AVOID!!!!!! I wouldn’t even give this place one star, but I had to do in order to write a review. My appointment was set for 2. I arrived early at 1:40. They sat me down went for highlights a blonde and a bronze color. The appointment was originally set for a cut/trim full color when I got there they said that might take too long because they had a lift my color so we agreed on just highlights because she would be done in time………6 o’clock rolled around my hair is still soaking wet. My family and I have been coming to Insight for well over a decade now, long before it was independent as Insight Salon, and there’s nowhere I’d rather go. Every single stylist they have is excellent, and I’ve never received a bad haircut or service. The staff is always friendly, accommodating, knowledgeable, and willing to assist with any questions or requests I have. The salon is owned and operated by a wonderful woman who cares about her stylists and her craft, and the trade could use more people like her and her dedicate... read more
Absolutely terrible experience. I came in yesterday and got my bangs cut by Sahara, which I didn’t like at all. I called this morning to fix it, and Emma told me to come at 8 AM and that the manager would take care of it. I showed up on time, and the manager was extremely rude and unwelcoming from the moment I walked in. She gave me attitude, didn’t seem interested in helping, and made me feel uncomfortable for even being there—despite having no other customers at the time.
