We had our son evaluated here due to behavioral issues. He masks incredibly well in front of people who aren't family. The conclusion of his evaluation made NO sense for our now 7 year old (then 5/6) and our pediatrician also disagrees with the diagnosis. I had an extremely disappointing experience with this autism assessment. The evaluator dismissed my struggles with communication and executive functioning, despite clear evidence that these impact my daily life. They seemed to rely on outdated stereotypes (such as equating eye contact with not being autistic) instead of truly listening to my experiences. I've been on the waiting list for 6 months. When it was my turn on the waiting list, it was then they informed me that they do not accept Medicaid. A complete waste of my time when I could have been on other waitlists.
