I booked a time in advance but arriving there sitting for 1 hr, it was unexpected and the lady before me was doing something more complex, it took hours for dying the hair, the owner could told me to reschedule another time, instead he kept me sitting there for 1 hr and only told me it will be done soon. I'm an ABC and don't speak great Chinese but I like the haircuts I get here. Show a picture and be precise, and I always get the style I want. Been a customer for 2+ years at this point and will keep coming.

Please make sure you have a picture of the exact haircut you want, and don’t make any further requests if you cannot speak Chinese. The staff cannot speak English, so when I asked them to thin my hair out they thinned it so much + gave short layers (even though the picture was for long layers) to the extent that my very thick hair (usually takes over 3 hours to air dry and couldn’t be clipped up in a hair clip without falling or breaking the clip) ended up looking like a mullet and rats tail. Kevin is my go to barber in Minnesota. He is very professional and takes his craft very seriously. That said, he challenges himself to get the best cut for each and every client. He knows how to take care of Asian hair.
