Inova Fair Oaks Hospital has apparently confused “patient care” with “summoning people early so the hospital does not have to wait.” My mother was told to arrive 90 minutes early for a colonoscopy. Last week I had an amazing experience in the gastro department. The staff was kind, the wait time was short, and they made staff AND patients use hand sanitizer at multiple spots during the process. There was a nurse who checked in on us before we even finished registration who was incredibly kind. The nurse who took me back to the surgical waiting room was kind and made sure I was comfortable. Dr. Chand was amazing!
