I had a Cardiac Stress test at Jewish last week and it was a terrible experience! First of all, the entire facility is dirty, run down and in desperate need of remodeling. But worse than that, their staff is incompetent and their equipment is old and obsolete. The tech performing the test didn't even know how to take my blood pressure. She put the cuff on my lower arm (below the elbow) to take it and then told me I had high BP (215/110). I told her that I never had high BP in my life and to take it again the right way ... read more
This is the worst ER that I have ever been to stay far away, horrible experience. I did not receive proper medical attention and some of staff notes were incorrect and untruthful. Such a disappointment when someone lies in their notes about what really happened in the ER just to cover themselves because they failed to do their job correctly. They will charge you for literally just walking through the door, (Facility fee, ER RM, staffing, etc.) the higher the level of care the more expensive your charges will be. You will als... read more
Worse medical appointment ever!! My appointment was to follow-up on a serious medical finding. She was rude, dismissive of my questions, and apparently I asked too many questions because she GOT UP AND WALKED OUT OF THE APPOINTMENT after approximately 5 minutes and I was left with no information regarding my health. She tell me how busy s Given all the poor reviews how is she still allowed to see patience? She is NOT fit to be a practicing physician.

Three hour wait to not even receive any medical treatment. What a scam!
No stars . Hospital is terrible . Ppl are walking out and cursing . Bad situation. Sad what UPMC has become. From over worked staff to being completely under staffed . They'll never change don't bother. They will never be able to improve wait times. They don't even bother to try . They crew is a lost cause. Go to St .Margaret's there very good .
If I could give zero stars I would. The emergency room "staff" is grossly under qualified to make the assessments they do. A nurse practitioner did my intake had numerous errors in the facts of my case and apparently made assumptions only an unqualified and undereducated individual would do. Not only was Rory Connolly lacking in knowledge, he has no empathy or compassion getting extremely annoyed when I did not answer his questions the way he thought I should.
