Excellent care from a caring staff.
Aside from a rather confusing layout, this facility is pretty nice. The security personnel could use additional training for guiding people to where they need to go, or a downloadable app should be created so people can tie into Googlemaps to figure out how to get to where they need to be. The staff seem very friendly and courteous, and more than willing to help guide lost patients and guests. Still, the confusing layout causes me to deduct one star.
Doctors and staff are excellent. My only complaint is if you are working in a thoracic surgery recovery/short stay section perfume/cologne should not be worn by staff. One of the techs was wearing so much perfume I could smell it down the hall. Having asthma and part of my lung removed made the stay quite unpleasant while she was on duty. The other thing that could use improvement is more than one single patient restroom for male/females for the area.
Nurse Nicole in the surgery center was awful. If you have to go to the bathroom after surgery, she will not take you, she will force patients to relieve themselves on themselves, and she rushes you out… even if you are still very much so under the effects of medication, she will make you get up and leave.
