It has being my hospital for the last 15 years. Every time I use the ER they are super nice and fast. Just this morning my wife was taken in to the ER for a car crash. They helped her in a minute.
Just had to visit the brand-new emergency department. it was excellent! no wait time, and the staff and nurses were great.
Inova Mt Vernon is a great hospital.
Dont go to the ER during shift change, which it seems to be around 5 or 5:30. You might as well suffer at home versus coming to ER and sot in pain and ignored while staff have they meetings or finish up they reports. You can tell staff is ready to leave and IRA just horrible. Brought my son they dropped us in the room, went to get him a blanket, 15 minutes later nurse never came back. Saw she was in a meeting. Then asked another person at the desk, she said sure, waited 15 more minutes, never came..so now we at 30 minutes. W... read more
The Blue Lobby Operating Room Volunteer at the information desk (lady with long white hair) is awesome! We loved her sense of humor and she made me and my family feel right at home. I feel ashamed that I didn't get her name, but she was as sweet as she could be. She was very helpful and her smile was very welcoming. She's a keeper and deserves an award. She made my trip from Delaware worth the visit. Oh and the surgeon Macasey (?) wasn't half bad either. Lol! Well Done INOVA!
Fabulous care provided by happy professionals. The physical and occupational therapists in the rehabilitation center are excellent and effective. Even the food - custom ordered each meal - exceeds all expectations. This is a top notch facility.
