Was seen last night in the ER, the staff were quick on their feet and extremely friendly & understanding. Dr. Foster, while I didn’t see her too much, she was very friendly and her bedside manner was on point. She explained my condition in a way that was easy for me to understand. The nurses were super helpful and extremely skilled in taking my blood. As someone with a huge fear of needles, Jeremy did a great job at showing me what he would do before doing it. I visited the ER due to extreme stomach pain, and the doctor took considerable time only to inform me that there was nothing he could do or that it would resolve on its own. While the pain eventually subsided, there was no examination or follow-up questioning regarding the location of the pain or possible causes-what if it had been appendicitis? I was taken to the emergency care area of the Inova Fair Oaks Hospital on July 14. I think I waited around 10 minutes and I was sent to my room. I received an excellent and personal care from the nurses and staff there. I can't remember any names but they were great. Then they sent me to the 4th floor where I spent 3 days and where I had a lot of fun. There I could easily see the professional nurses and staff performing in an outstanding way.
