I’m in the hospital right now being induced I feel like I have a lot of good things to say because all of the providers have been great except one midwife named Comfort (-65 years old, from Africa and wears disheveled looking wigs). She is the only midwife of color so it is disappointing that I have had 2 very unfavorable interactions with her. I hope I never have to visit this clinic again. The whole chain of command is lackluster at best. And I only know this now after experiencing how they deal with patient complaints. They failed to document my Initial complaint about a midwife leaving the door open while she had me on the exam table when it happened. They reported my son as a female and changed his name to a female name this caused my insurance to not be billed and for it to now be my responsibility to nag the insurance to change it in their system but the per... read more

My first review on the clinic was actually very mild compared to how badly I was violated by African Midwife Comfort Avovabey. I didn’t explain fully but now that I’m free of the epidural I can really express what happened and include what happened after my original post. Comfort violated me.
