My experience here was deeply disappointing and unnecessarily stressful during a medical situation where clarity and compassion mattered. I came in with ongoing abnormal bleeding and was treated like I was an inconvenience for needing help. Communication was poor from start to finish. I’m in the hospital right now being induced I feel like I have a lot of good things to say because all of the providers have been great except one midwife named Comfort (-65 years old, from Africa and wears disheveled looking wigs). She is the only midwife of color so it is disappointing that I have had 2 very unfavorable interactions with her.
