Dr. Liu as a doctor is a good and thorough one but his office staff are not flexible or willing to work with the patients. They did not want to work with my insurance because they thought there was a chance they wouldn’t get paid. They didn’t even bother to call my insurance to be sure. TERRIBLE SERVICE FROM OFFICE MANAGER!
Kevine T. BANDERA TX Dr. Liu performed a 3 level cervical fusion 11-21-17. Pre surgery was a very smooth, informative, and professional experience. The surgery was flawless and awoke feeling pain free and all numbness was gone from extremities. I want to personally tell anyone considering surgery that you will be in the best hands possible. Dr. Liu is a amazing surgeon who truly is passionate about helping his patient. I would definitely use and refer Dr. Liu without any hesitation.
I think Dr. Liu is a wonderful doctor and surgeon! He was so caring and involved with my surgery, office appointments, in home care, and everything I needed. He was so good about including my husband in everything about my surgery and recovery. He was the best surgeon I've ever had in making sure that my care from beginning to end went well! He is also very personable and made me feel confident in him as a surgeon. His office staff and nurses are also so warm and caring!
Didn't ask me any questions regarding my pain on my first visit and never called me back after getting my MRI. Just wanted to get in and out and on to his next client. Extremely disappointed.
Dr. Liu took his time with me to explain everything, and he did not make me feel rushed. I appreciate his kindness and his professionalism. I would go see this doctor again, and I would recommend him for anyone looking for an orthopedic spine specialist in the San Antonio area.
Not honest. Treatment and stories about procedures kept changing. Office staff has no idea what they are doing. Knows nothing about insurance. They just say yes to everything even though your insurance will NOT pay. Did not call in referrals and approvals in time. Have to go to the doctors and Image Clinics he prefers. Even if they are a pulmonologist and have nothing to do with your back surgery. Had cervical images ordered when Nothing was wrong with your neck!!! QUESTION ALOT!!!!
Dr Liu & staff very friendly & professional. Dr Liu's patient interaction very good & takes time needed to assure his diagnosis his understood.
