The first time I went was to get a second opinion about having spinal surgery. I liked Dr. Paulson, so I decided on him to be my surgeon if I were to have surgery. Worst place I’ve ever been with a dr whose bedside manner is one of the worst I’ve seen in a long time. Dr Todd will forever keep #1 for the worst, but Dr Paulson definitely has the #2 spot. He put us under anesthesia and then decided to not do the surgery and said id have to go out of town to Seattle. Wrong … coastal neurology has staff 10x the worth of innovative neurology. I was unable to walk or function without crippling back pain after an injury sustained months ago which progressively got more severe over time. Dr Paulson and his team after one visit were compassionate and kind, most importantly, tremendously effective. Their recommendations and course of action had me set on a path to healing in 8 days.
