From the office manager: I am saddened to hear you have such strong words towards our business. It is never our intention to make someone feel "stupid" as you put it. Part of your review is correct: yes, you did call at exactly 4:42pm, and yes you are correct about me stating you would be a better fit for another practice. The phone call started with you calling to make an appointment for your spouse. I asked what he needed to come in for and proceeded to tell you my next late afternoon appointment would be on February 21st.... read more

I recently moved to the Heights from the Cypress area and was looking for a new dentist so I Googled "dentists in 77008" and found this place. In an effort to get my whole family on the same dental cleaning schedule, I called them to see if my and my husbands insurance would allow us to do that. After the lady was rude and trying to rush me off the phone because it was close to 5PM, she then proceeded to treat me as if I was incompetent after I just explained to her that I understood we had different insurances. She was very... read more

In response to "if you dont spend money with them"...It's ridiculous to assume they are trying to stick you with non-existent charges because you've have "free" visits in the past. To begin with, those "free" visits weren't free; the insurance paid for those and apparently you had no co-pay. Or perhaps your insurance covered whatever extra costs there were. Either way, the office WAS paid for those visits (whether it came from you or the insurance company) so they had no need to hold you up for more. The insurance company di... read more

Best Service Ever!!!!! – I was very impressed when I visited Dr. Neshan's office. The entire staff was very nice and explained every bit of my procedure in detail. I normally do not write reviews on medical/dental offices but I felt the need when I read the previous review. I did not have that experience at all. Everyone knows in this day and age, offices have to cover themselves by putting every type of complication that could arise, chances are nothing will happen. With my experience, I was given a consent form when I chec... read more

The dental appointment that never was – At first I was encouraged to hope I'd found a knowledgeable, empathetic dental practice. Not so. I had an appointment for a deep cleaning, a necessary procedure and, at first, I thought I was in good hands. The first hurdle, of course, was my signing a waiver stating that the treatment was not guaranteed, there might be complications, swelling, etc. Then there was a clause about a possibility of "cardiac collapse." What was that?! As a layman, I thought of "heart attack," but if so, wh... read more

Business response:

We give consent forms to patients at the front desk and tell them to read over it and if any questions arise they can ask the doctor prior to treatment. The forms do state treatment is not guaranteed because we have no control over the patient once they leave our office. In this example the patient stated he needed a deep cleaning and it is up to the patient to brush their teeth at home and come regularly to the dentist. When asked at the front office what a cardiac collapse was, my staff did not shrug their shoulders, inste... read more

In response to "if you dont spend money with them" – We are in network with many insurance companies allowing us to serve more of the community. Being in network allows patients to pay a lower rate rather than going to an out of network doctor. We advise patients to come every 3, 4, or 6 months depending on their oral health. Missing a scheduled appointment or not coming as frequently as advised by the dentist can cause a patients treatment to change. We are very pro active in our patients’ health and want the best for them.... read more

Dr. Neshan and her Staff are the Absolute BEST!!! – I first met Dr. Neshan and her staff (Jill & Beth) a little over a year ago, after not seeing a dentist in a few years. (far more than I'd like to admit). ---for the simple reason: I do not like to experience PAIN----Yikes!! I just had my 6 month check-up and Dr. Neshan will constantly ask during the cleaning, "are you all right?" ---really? I do not feel any pain, she is very gentle. Dr. Neshan never rushes and really treats the patient in a very caring manner. it helps th... read more

I'm 13, and I like going to see my Dentist, Dr.Neshan. – Dr. Neshan takes her time cleaning my teeth. She's never hurt me because she is very gentle. She always asks if I need more water, or if I need to rest my jaw. She's very nice! She told me I had great teeth, and I should floss everyday. My sister and I like that she gives us a new toothbrush! Dr. Neshan knows my favorite color is Green. Dr. Neshan is very Cool and pretty too.
