Wow...I live in the area and have passed this place since inception but never entered the premises until today (picking up Valentines box which is a wonderful small gift/put together by volunteers) what a wonderful building very very well thought out ...it is such an inspiring place to visit...thank you to all concerned.
Amazing care & kindness from staff
At first I was impressed. The gardener and chef are absolutely amazing!! It seemed like a peaceful place. I spoke to counselor about my concerns and fears. She made me feel better but she lied to me. They made my biggest fear come true and now I'm suffering. My mom was not in pain so why were they pumping her full of hydromorph every 4 hours? Beware, I knew something was wrong when my mom asked to go to hospital a few times. I didn't listen. They also told me not to offer her water because she will choke. This made no sense ... read more
Innisfree was amazing from beginning to end. They were exceptional in reaching out about the process of arrival. They were so informative and supplied counseling or someone to speak with from the beginning well past the time of passing. They offered multiple in house features - meals to request, full around clock allowed visits, someone who comes in and does their nails, so many types of classes and things to pass by. My first night's sleep home, since literally being a resident at INNISFREE HOUSE Hospice, while at my father's bedside. I want to SINCERELY thank the nursing team, personal support workers, and volunteers for the end of life compassion they unselfishly provided to my dear father. It takes a special kind of human being to do what they do...and as far as I'm concerned, they are human earthly angels. I was also given so much love, embrace and support. I am forever indebted. Again, Thank you.❤️🦋
