I’ve been seeing Maya for a few months and she has been absolutely fantastic. She’s helped me navigate through some of my most challenging moments through patience, insights and genuine care. Ive gone to other psychologists in the past but there's something different about Maya. She is quick to get to know, and understand the REAL you. She helped me in 2018 and I have recently started seeing her again for a different issue and she remembered me. She makes me feel really safe; safe to speak up, safe to get angry and safe to cry. I can trust Maya and the things that she says stick with me. She is honest, very intelligent, and perceptive. One thing I really admire about her is that she always gives me space and time to think things through, saying “find the words”, even when I struggle to express my thoughts. She helped me to realize and work on skills that have made a noticeable impact on my thought processes and relationships. Of the health professionals I have seen, she has been one of the most helpful.
