Rooms have a weird smell, showers don't have unlimited soap dispensers like modern hotels, the "breakfast" option is just a muffin, and the rooms just feel quite dilapidated and shoddy. This isn't your "Best Western" 2 star hotel that feels like a 4 star. No, this is actually a 2 star hotel that feels like a 2 star. These Google reviews are being very generous, likely because the only alternative is the Holiday Inn nearby that's $200/day The Wi-Fi is also pretty bad and times out every few hours forcing you to login again.
DON'T STAY! Manager doesn't like being disturbed with concerns, tv is 80% pixels, phone doesn't work, lamp plugs don't work. Told maintenance left already (4pm) they couldn't replace the light. SHAME ON YOU FOR SHITTY SERVICE! Even at the rate it is NOT WORTH STAYING HERE! #INNONTHEHUDSONSUCKS
Love this place, especially the beautiful view. Stayed there twice with my man and had a great night of sleep (or lack of sleep if you know what I mean ;)). Would definitely recommend the inn to any friend staying in and around the Peekskill area.
This hotel is beautiful and in such a perfect spot, but it’s unfortunately not all that great… I left this Dunkin’ Donuts bagel on the cabinet for 20 minutes while I ran to the gas station. When I came back, I noticed a mouse had eaten through the bag and left droppings and garbage all over. This immediately made me realize that the noise I heard the night prior when trying to sleep was not just creaking in the walls, but mice running around underneath our bed.
