A bit run down, would have expected a bit more for the price but it’s an expensive part of the country.

We rented 3 rooms for a weekend in October 2025, for several family members for an outing to the Great Jack-o-Lantern Blaze, only about 10 mins. away. Our experience at this inn was great! Rooms were clean and neat, quite comfortable, all near each other, with beautiful views from the front balconies (2 of the rms, side by side!) overlooking the Hudson River. Honestly not the worst motel I've ever stayed in, but definitely in the bottom 10. This is not a hotel. This is a motel. There is a lot of potential here especially with the location, but there is zero effort. The rooms are a good size and have a microwave and fridge. The rooms have actual furniture which could be really cute and unique if it was kept up at all. For the price, it is perfect. I stayed there for a weekend trip. The property is old, but all I cared about was that it was clean and in a good location, which it was. If you are a light sleeper, you will hear an occasional train whistle. They do provide basic earplugs.
