This is the second time i tried calling this place for a walk out with a king bed (room) and they say “we cant reserve that, you get what you get”. Okay, what is the point of a reservation if you cant make a reservation for a room on the 1st floor with a walkout. The number one reason why we visit Duluth is to skip stones, observe and collect unique rocks, and put our feet in the water along the shore at Canal Park. Unfortunately, now that there are boulders there, we cannot do that, and the one thing we can count on doing no matter what is no longer possible. We no longer have a reason to visit or stay at this or any other hotel at Canal Park. The happiest memory I have is spending time with my kids along the shore. Well the hotel it's self is not bad, could use a little updating. Location is great. However ..... do not stay here if you want to have any fun. Fun is not allowed. VERY strict 10pm curfew, even on weekends. They literally shut the lights off on you if you are up past 10pm. Our kids (ages 16-18) were kicked out of the pool because it was "family time" at 9pm.
