My husband and I took a trip to Duluth and this was the best stay we have had!! Amazing place and the location was the greatest! I highly recommend staying here and we will definitely staying here again!!!

We've stayed several times before, however this stay was a big disappointment. (It's been 2 years since our last stay). We had the two bedroom Lakeview suite. My overall opinion of the suite was dirty and rundown. The carpet was dirty and stained, broken furniture, mold in the fridge, gross moldy bathroom (I could go on and on). The patio connected to our room was also really dirty and didn't look like it's been swept in years! I paid over $1,100 for a two night stay. 2 stars only because the staff handled the bed bug situation well. Room was big, but smelled old and a little musty by the AC unit. It hasnt been updated it a while. I didn't end up staying the whole night because there were bed bugs. I didn't notice them until 11pm when they were crawling across the covers. I pulled up the sheets and the seams were covered in brown stains. The desk attendant gave me a full refund and moved me to a different hotel. Our room was amazing we've always loved staying here but in 90plus degree weather and the smoke the inside pool was closed as was hot tub last minute I wasn't informed of this when checking in and when asked about a discount because not all amenities were available they said probably not

Pretty disappointed in our stay. The smoky air made it so we couldn’t use our patio or go outside to see the lake. So we thought we’ll use the indoor pool instead to entertain the kids since it’s unsafe outside. And the indoor pool is closed. One of the games in game room was broken. I feel like I paid for all these amenities that I couldn’t even use. I couldn’t use the s’mores stuff too because of the smoke . I’d like some money back.
