My wife and I were driving late on hwy 61 along the shore of Lake Superior, looking for a place to stay and happened upon the Inn on Gitche Gummee. Great place to come to get away . We have stayed here many times each time in a different room and all the rooms are welcoming and relaxing. There breakfast is to die for and it's cool how they always put a message in the pancakes

The bathroom was a renovated closet, truly a water closet in the most basic sense of the phrase. My husband is 6'2" and fit, but it was a bit tight. It did have a shower/bath squeezed into it. The room was extremely cl... read more
