Great place, we love stopping for a drink and bite to eat before getting back on the trails! Highly recommend The Inn By The River to anyone riding the Forks Trail system!
The Inn By The River catered my September 2016 wedding. The food was incredible, my guests raved it was the best catered wedding they had ever been too. Kim was so awesome to work with! I couldn't have asked for a better experience.
Absolutely loved our trip/stay at the Inn! Truly amazing hospitality, great knowledge of the trail system and points of interest nearby! I will be coming back to stay there. Thanks again for a awesome stay and trip to Maine!!
The negative for the cabin- I was told and Web site said there was a small kitchenette and there was not, we had neighbors that where upset over the same thing. T.V has no signal but has a dvd player with no mivies. We brought a bunch of food that went to waiste and now had to eat out for all our meals. The pilot for the heat kept shutting down that we had to keep relighting after waking to the freezing cold. The positive was at the Inn everyone was great there. Food, bar, staff where great. This was one of the most inviting places me and my fiancé have ever stayed in. Their rooms are the greatest the beds are huge and their baths are with jets so it made it a million times better taking one. . The staff was phenomenal. And ever for the football games they made sure to put out some appetizers for free. Best experience ever. I will most certainly come again.
