Beautiful location and very attentive staff! Wish we could have stayed longer!
This used to be my favorite Inn in NH however, after our recent stay, I think that the Inn has lost its top rating, for example, the former chef prepared food that was impeccable and you walked out of there feeling like a king. I do not think a chef prepared our food this time rather, a cook. Also the way it used to be was while the guests were having dinner, the staff would turn down your bed and place a good night chocolate on the pillow, tidy up the room and refresh the towels. My wife and I have returned to the Inn for 4 separate stays of 3 nights each in the last 12months because of our wonderful experiences there. We always feel welcome and at home in the accommodations provided. The food is great and very satisfying. We love our experiences with Scamp, the bartender. Klaus is masterful in his way of interacting with us, offering ideas for daytime activities, sharing life experiences and taking care to see that no detail is overlooked. My husband booked two nights here as a birthday present and it was fantastic! Attentive and friendly staff, clean rooms, excellent food, etc. It was so relaxing and charming and we definitely want to go back. Next time I'm going to make use of the spa!

I can't say enough about this place, honestly. It was perfection. From the room to the food to the view. Impeccable. Will definitely be back!
