My husband and I stayed here for one night for a "staycation" and to celebrate many wonderful things! For years, I have driven past the Inn and have been wanting to stay. It was everything I wanted it to be and so much more! We stayed in "Victor," which was a two story house with a sitting room and king bed. We went to dinner at Krazy Kats. This morning, I asked when we were coming back. My husband's answer? "As soon as possible."
I had done tons and tons of research on day spas and everyone seemed to have had a great experience here, so I wanted to see for myself. I scheduled a massage and facial and as soon as I walked in, I was greeted by the front desk. The atmosphere was absolutely perfect and was everything I hoped it would be. From the women's locker room, to the bathroom, to the "relax" room and the massage rooms.. I felt very at home. What a Magical place for our wedding! Andrew and The Staff made sure no detail was overlooked! Very professional...and the Setting, the Accommodations and the Food were unsurpassed!
What an incredible weekend I had at The Inn at Montchanin Village and Spa. The Chase cottage was lovely. The staff was so helpful, professional and down to earth. I didn't want to leave. This is a magical place where you can go and forget about everything. With life being so hectic it's nice to be able to unplug and step back in time just for a little while. Kudos for keeping up an American treasure. I can't wait to come back!
