The room had a beautiful lake view. The location was a little away from the main action but that made for a quiet, restful stay. After locating the hotel, the location was excellent, just past the bridge.
It was spacious, clean, and comfortable. We'd stay there again.

my stay was excellent because I had great company. I was comfy and enjoyed myself. The hotel was close to most things.
The room was clean, and we loved the lake side view. It was worth the small upcharge! As an added bonus, we were able to have a small breakfast each morning since it was off peak season. It was simple, just cereal, oatmeal, pastries, toast, and drinks, but it beats buying breakfast!! Also had a fridge in room which was nice to store our drinks and snacks and leftovers from dinner! Found plenty to do in the area for off peak time too.
Room was clean and spacious. Had a beautiful view of the lake. Staff was pleasant and courteous. Hotel is convenient to all lake attractions. Stan Musial once owned the hotel, so has cardinal memorabilia tastefully displayed. Will go back
