Very cute historic Victorian building that kept most of its original(?) charm. Dog-friendly and walkable with spacious rooms. A couple issues - no TV and paper thin walls so you might find yourself laying awake listening to street activities or other hotel guests coming and going. Breakfast was simple but ample for those who just need a quick bite.

This Hotel is a total dump. Very run down. Rooms are musty & dirty. There was a very small fan for my room. Curtains are falling apart. Staff try to avoid the guest. I heard alot of customers complaining. Do Not stay at this hotel

I do appreciate that people save and renovate places like this, and it’s long on charm. If you love antiques and the 19th century lifestyle, you’ll adore it. If you’re better suited to modern amenities, it’s quirky. I think the owners have tried really hard and the service was good, but our room was not the best. We passed some other rooms that looked nicer. The chairs in our room were period, but incredibly uncomfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is very unique and gorgeous to explore with lots of interesting architecture and design. However they have several rooms that have NO WINDOWS TO THE OUTSIDE. The rooms are on the inside of the building and the windows face into the hallway and/or into a large indoor parlor that is connected to a bar that can be quite loud.
