The hotel is beautiful!! The room was spacious, the bed was very comfy. The staff was pleasant. It was fun to be there in a Friday night for the farmers market and after party at Phatsy Klines, but Saturday morning was so so so sad. I didn't realize that the rescue mission is a block away as is the vets center. The homeless situation was very distressing.
Interesting location... right in the middle of old town. If you're looking for a quirky place to stay, this is it.
I recently stayed at The Inn at 2nd & C and absolutely loved my experience. The property itself is a very cute, beautifully preserved Victorian landmark that instantly transports you back in time while keeping you perfectly comfortable. Every detail within the historic building feels unique and thoughtful. While the inn itself is wonderful, the surrounding area of Eureka left me hoping for a bit more. Overall great character just leaves you underwhelmed. Very unique architecture of this period building, which in the center had a dance floor and stage with a beautiful stained glass skylight ceiling. Bathroom tile and fixtures were clean and new. Some of the staff were friendly and provided good recommendations on restaurants and things to do in the area (others seemed to be bothered by interruptions and we even heard one staff member say to a guest frustratingly "I'm trying but there are 60 of you and only one of me" Wante... read more
I chose this hotel based on the vintage aesthetic and that did not disappoint. It does get a bit eerie at night if you walk the halls alone. Location was ok, but didn’t feel like it was in the safest area of this city. Staff were great and room itself was nice and spacious, I just wish the bed was more comfy. We were in room #16.
