Dr. Motakef is not just a surgeon but a skilled artist, he has a very keen eye for symmetry. The entire process from consultation to post was such a smooth process. Beware if you are of Hispanic descent. This doctor doesn’t not embrace diversity. When attempting to book through reception, they did not speak Spanish so my mom DM him on instagram in hopes of scheduling through that media. His response was to become defensive and reply “not everyone in this country speaks Spanish” and later messages “if you are looking for an all Spanish speaking team, that’s only possible in Mexico.” He is racist and instead of reflecting and retaking ethics courses, he deflected on Instagram stories stat... read more
I came to Dr Troy 3 years ago for my very first surgery to get a breast augmentation and was met with kind heart warming genuine staff that made me feel comfortable and excited for what I was their for. To Dr Troy: Not everyone is CA speaks Spanish but over 10 million do (in CA). When clients communicate a language barrier, as a business owner (especially in SOCAL and in a city where you 68% of the population is HISPANIC) you shouldn’t reply by saying not everyone in this country speaks Spanish and offer no solution! Don’t give your money to businesses that don’t welcome you, your differences, or your native language!
I am only one day post op so I will update with any relevant changes but I cannot speak positively enough about this wonderful team. The Dr. during the consult was so professional and gave me an amazing explanation as to what would give me the best outcome. I originally was going to just get an aug but after speaking with him decided on a lift as well. We also spoke about sizing and I am so happy with all of his recommendations so far.
