People love to complain, don't they? I was diagnosed with cancer in 2019 in Minneapolis. We moved here in 2022 (January 1). I have an amazing oncologist and care team. My husband, having just accompanied me for the first time here in Dallas was blown away. Each and every employee was kind, professional and fully engaged in my care. I could say that about my Minneapolis team, not even Mayo Clinic. His thoughts on the Minneapolis clinic, they were kind, but seemed more like they were just "doing a job". I've had nothing but top notch care at Simmons. From the lab to my care team. (Lots of communication via MyChart) Definitely had some waits during infusion times. Waiting for Dr. to approve bloodwork or busy lab mixing made to order drugs. After reading the 2 reviews before me, I'll start to watch the billing closer.

They are least transparent with the billing. They charged almost double compared to the estimates that they gave. The nurse had a 5-10 minute Telehealth call but charged us for 60-77 minutes. The nurses are not very experienced, and they made us wait (but started the clock) since they are not ready with the infusion. One of my friends had similar experience with both billing and infusion. Infant her experience is much worse as they stuck the needle and realized they didn't have IV bag ready. They made her wait with the needl... read more
