I was referred here because of a severe fungal infection. After explaining that I had a fungal blood culture test previously that was inconclusive and I wanted a fungal PCR test because it is more accurate (fungal infections can exist outside of the bloodstream) the doctor refused to give me the test I wanted and said he didn't know what a PCR is.
