One of my favorite gyms in the country ! I don’t live anywhere near Indianapolis but everytime I have been here Indy City Barbell is my first stop ! You will not find a better owner and dude than Steve ! Cannot recommend this gym enough and will be training here every time I’m in Indianapolis !
I've been at ICB for about 3 months. Shelby is my PT and is phenomenal to work with. Excellent communication and knowledgeable in all areas helping me with my dietary needs and physical needs. Shelby is great to work with and I'd recommend ICB to family and friends.
Absolutely wonderful experience! Been coming to ICB for a few years now and everything is top notch! I’ve seen a few trainers and all of them are full of knowledge and experience. The environment is spectacular. It doesn’t matter if you’re a seasoned lifter or a newbie, the staff is very welcoming along with the members. Arnold had Gold’s Gym and today we have Indy City Barbell!!!
Indy City barbell is a friendly gym with great culture and friendly staff, hands down. If you are looking for a personal trainer, ask for Martel! He is super personable, adaptable, and is a real ride-or-die guy. I picked up Martel as a personal trainer at the start of December 2025 and have been seeing him twice a week - Martel has me progressing and achieving my goals and I’m pretty hyped to have him working with me. He can also pull a fire truck.
