They seem to think "smash autism" is a good idea, even though autistic people are way more likely to be abused by family members (as in, already get smashed by people who'd like to remove autism from them.) And then compounding it by silencing autistic people who point this out? Yeah, this is not a place that will ever get my business, and I'd suggest anyone who actually cares about Autistic people avoid as well. I understand that you are hosting an event because you want to be supportive, but honestly, how can smashing autism ever be supportive? Autism is neurological and can not be separated from a person, so in "smashing autism," you are effectively smashing Autistic people. That is hateful. Please reconsider your language as well as your choice of organizations to support. There are many that do far more to benefit Autistic people.
