My mother has a nonprofit that provides respite for individuals and families with terminal illnesses. I had a fundraising event for my nonprofit organization and the venue flooded just before the event started. I had to cancel the event and they would not issue a refund for the rental, food, dress ( ruined from dirty standing water), flight, and hotel costs. Their authorized representative that was at the event said they would issue a refund for everything but 2 days later the manager said they are using a force majeure clause in the contract. Judgmental towards my finance
We booked INDUSTRY as our reception venue for our wedding last November and couldn't have chosen a better venue! INDUSTRY was the first venue we toured and we loved how the industrial touches still felt warm and inviting. The aspects we loved most about the building itself were the location: close to downtown Indianapolis, plenty of parking for guests, clean and spacious get-ready rooms and bathrooms, and the flexibility to bring our own personal touches to the space.
