Indulgences Day Spa – The staff is friendly, but the equipment is not that good (for example linen is not exactly very clean, the rooms are small and not conducive to a 'spa experience") and the policies for discounted services are never presented in a clear manner. So several times I paid for the entire price of things that had been advertised as discounted. So-so experience I've used Indulgences a few different times for manicures and pedicures. My first experience there was a mani/pedi and it went pretty well. Nothing spectacular, nothing went wrong. My next experience was just a mani, and the manicure room is also the back door and evidently, the place for employees to clock in and check their schedules and such. A massage not worth remembering... I regularly support Highland businesses along 32nd and on Tennyson St. However, after 3 visits to Indulgences for massage, I won't be returning. My first visit a few years ago was w/a masseuse (black woman) who was strong, capable and very experienced in massage. The last two massages I've had in this past year were pathetic to say the least. TOO MANY TIMES..... – I have given the Spa time after time to many chances, Now I'm way done. The owner, needs to get some serious help, and than maybe try some mangement classes, not sure that would help. I had this wonderferul older woman doing my facials wow she was amazing, now she is gone. Your massage therapist are so horrible that I hurt for days after my massage, how do you send customers home feeling bad?? Don't believe the haters! – I've been a loyal Indulgences customer for about a year and a half now, and I feel I must post a rebuttal so some of the slander that's been written here. Slander which, interestingly enough, always seems to coincide with employee turnover, though I don't know if those that are no longer there left of their own accord. Loved it!!! – I chose Indulgences Day Spa because I live in the area and what a treat! It was one of the best massages I have had, Aerin (Erin) was thorough and made sure I was comfortable at all times. I look forward to my next visit and will recommend it to all my friends!!!
Nice...BUT!!!!! – I had a nice day, 4 weeks ago. At Indulgence Day Spa, very nice and clean, the front desk needs some help with there attitudes, but I had the most amazing facial, by a older woman who was so refreshing to be with, the massage was good not great. great day! – I was recently in for a massage and pedicure. The massage was one of the best I've in a long time, and the pedicure lady was friendly and informative. Best of all, the only retail recommendations I recieved were things the therapists truly thought I could use. I also enjoyed my time in the waiting room. The desk staff is clearly knowledgable about everything at Indulgences, and gave us great recommendations for dinner. I'm telling all my friends to go, and I'll definitely be back!
Excellent Day Spa – This is a great day spa! I have been going here for facials for just over 2 years now. My esthetician, Karyn, is wonderful. She is experienced and well-versed. Karyn always makes sure that I have a most relaxing and enjoyable facial. I am so pleased with how my skin looks. The front desk staff, especially Emily, are pleasant and knowledgeable. I always enjoy coming here - the location is charming.
