a great university for students who want to get a great degree close to home
Excellent University in a small town environment.
Great school for a great price. Super friendly staff and professors. I love the campus, it’s always clean and kept neat. In college, you have to learn how to do things for yourself, someone isn’t always there to do it for you or tell you what to do. But I think the staff at PFW has always been super helpful to me. I’ll miss it when I graduate in the spring.

Visited financial aid several times and given different answers. Complete one task they gave me at a time and checked the status of aid frequently to see if corrections where approved. They were denied every time. Returned to office (5xs now and on my 5th answer), apparently given false information multiple times. Then the director came in and was rude and authoritative acting when questioned about the incompetence of the staff and how much time and effort I am wasting. It's despicable how bad they are to their staff. The leadership team gives each other massive bonuses each year when enrollment goes up, but the staff doesn't get much more than a 2% raise that is "merit-based". Purdue Fort Wayne is just another example of how corrupt higher education is. The new chancellor isn't any different than the old one.
