I rented a property through this company for two years (June 2022-Jube 2024) in Leesburg, VA. Based on my opinion and experience I would NEVER recommend this company. I found them slow to respond and please beware of your security deposit. I rented out properties before and I had them cleaned and painted in between tenants. This company will charge you for cleaning and painting which I found outrageous. They charged me $303.85 to have the property professionally cleaned. Todd at Independent Property Management (IPM) was personable, my experience with his property management services was unfortunately quite negative. During the four years they managed my property, a tenant caused significant damage that went unaddressed for a concerning amount of time. The tenant reportedly caused issues including water leaks, broken doorbells, damaged lights, a compromised ceiling, and malfunctioning appliances like the microwave and fridge. Just to name a few.
