Do not consent to service unless they tell you how much the visit will cost BEFORE insurance and IN WRITING. I asked them to give me a quote for the cost of an initial appointment BEFORE insurance and they refused. I understand not knowing exactly what I would pay after insurance since everyone's plan is different (I know my plan and I can do that math myself), but it feels deceptive that they also 'didn't know' even a range for how much my appointment could cost before insurance. I went to Independent Physical Therapy in Westwood in 2019 for a knee issue. I was not thrilled with their services, but didn't feel strongly enough to write a review at that point. However, last week (February 10, 2021), I received a bill from them for $45. I haven't had an appointment with IPT since August 2019 nor have I made any appointments with them or have any other contact with them.
