Great local bakery! The apple butter danish and the hazelnut danish were both amazing. The ham and butter sandwich baguette has a grainy mustard that really elevates the flavor. The baguette itself is the perfect texture for a sandwich, slightly crunchy but not too tough. There’s not much room inside, so expect to take it home or sit on a bench nearby. Looking forward to returning soon!
I went to visit my friend at the bakery and totally underestimated how good it would be! The wait wasn’t long, they’re very efficient, and the food was warm and delicious, which was great for the cold morning. It’s cozy, set in a quaint part of town, and I think everyone in Athens should visit!

In 5 points, Athens, GA. They have long held a great reputation. I visited for the first time today, 09-19-26. They are not afraid of butter here, and the taste in the pastry is evident. They are the real deal. Parking is inconvenient, but worth the struggle. Go invest in yourself and have something from here.
We love to stop by on the weekends for fresh bread and pastries but recently they have gone above and beyond our expectations. For our baby shower we pre-ordered many sandwiches and loaves of bread for pickup. The ordering process was seamless, and pickup was a breeze.
