Lori Allmer is the most wonderful escrow officer that I have the pleasure of working with! She's communicative, extraordinarily knowledgeable and always kind. Simple files are a dream and she shines whenever there's a problem that needs to be solved. I'm so grateful to have Lori on my team when working on real estate transactions!

I can not say enough good things about Independence Title, but to sum everything up in one word- Professional. Nothing but professional, helpful, friendly. They kept us abreast of everything to do with our closing, were more than easy scheduling a closing time to accommodate our schedule and even helped us with the closing of our property out of town. Ruby and Rachael were amazing.....they made us feel like family.

I walked away from a purchase agreement during the option period, having given earnest money to Independence Title. The escrow agent indicated that their company policy was to require 10 *business* days before the earnest money could be refunded, unless I could provide them with proof that the check had cleared. I provided them with my bank's check image, but Independence Title found that it lacked "stamp or anything from your bank that the check has cleared." The title company has multiple locations across the city and we dealt with this Balcones location. The office is located in a strip mall very close to Mopac. Every one whom we interacted with were very professional and helpful. They offer snacks and beverages (water, coffee and tea) in the reception area. I would like to specially mention Ruby Cortez, Escrow officer who was very courteous. She explained the process and answered all our queries even few silly one with a nice big smile.
