This place needs to be inspected because is dirty and they have bathrooms that have to be shared by men, women and children. That’s not acceptable. It was 6:00 am and bathrooms were dirty and stinky. I definitely don’t want to be there again. The personnel were ok but the organization and building was deplorable. They couldn’t find a tube to put in my arm and they open a drawer and it was a mess, horrible experience. I do not recommend this place at all.
My stay was July 2-3 2026. I must give props to some of the staff. Monice at the front desk, LaShonda, and Isacc were wonderful! Because of them, I want to go back when I need to Edine Silvederio -LVN had the best bedside manner. She was very patient, educational, professional and informative. I was not happy AT ALL with Dr Chang. My regular Vascular doctor is Karl Illig. He wasn't available to take my case and I had to take Dr Chang. He had NO gentleness or compassion. I'm hoping I will NEVER have to deal with him again.
My husband needed to go to the hospital for some tests and recovery. We usually go to Memorial Hermann but I am tired of these big hospital networks. A friend recommended Independence Heights Hospital. They took good care of my husband and Dr. Shah performed a MIRACLE! My husband hasn't slept for years because of his tinnitus. Dr. Shah but together a combo of a few pills and my husband slept through the night for the first time in decades. All his medical issues were resolved. These people loaded my mother into the wrong uber, complete incompetence. Shameful ignorance. Willing to just wheel patients out the door into the first car willing to pick them up.
