Our experience at The Canal Apartments was marked by ongoing stress, poor communication, and a clear lack of respect from InCity Properties. What makes it worse is that we were renting a newly renovated unit—not an old building—yet we faced constant problems that were brushed off as "normal." At one point, 11 holes were drilled straight through our floor without any notice, putting us, our pets, and our property at risk. Would not recommend. Moved in to a renovated unit that had a washer machine that leaked within 3 Weeks(that's 3 loads). Damaging the floorboards and flooring. 8 months later the machine is finally replaced over the course of 3 weeks, and somehow It's my fault it's been broken since we moved in(they claimed overloading). Reported and documented multiple times. Maintenance also asked us to order our own part for it if we wanted it done faster when first reported.
