If you have experience with things being done properly, by the book whatever you want to call it, AVOID renting from incity and all its other companies!!! Always lost paperwork and on a few occasions, fully lost the money orders I had to pay them when they blocked my account from paying online. Edit: InCity replied to my review so I want to elaborate. In city bought the building I was living in on a month-to-month lease. Just a month later they asked me to us sign a new lease at a 15% increase and they started charging more for utilities and took away our parking space. Then they sent an email saying they would remove all locks from the bike lockers while I was out of town. This review is specifically for Halie Johnson’s performance as a property manager. I normally shy away from reviews but I just can’t keep this to myself. She’s professional, quick, attentive, patient, and just overall great at what she does. I’ve never seen anything like it. I moved from out of state with no family all alone and she helped me with every step along the way. She even responds outside of business hours. Worst rental agency I’ve ever rented with. They tried charging us for a repainting and cleaning fee for an apartment we left spotless. The building was run down, had multiple safety code violations including the elevator and black mold in our apartment. (Which they “fixed” by spray painting over and not moving or covering any furniture before hand). These people are absolute slum lords.
