Worst rental agency I’ve ever rented with. They tried charging us for a repainting and cleaning fee for an apartment we left spotless. The building was run down, had multiple safety code violations including the elevator and black mold in our apartment. (Which they “fixed” by spray painting over and not moving or covering any furniture before hand). These people are absolute slum lords.
DO NOT RENT FROM ANY Incity property. Lived in one of there buildings in Seattle for a year and the building is falling apart, the elevator is terrifying and works about 30% of the time. Common areas in the building like laundry rooms are filthy and smell of mold and rot. Management is terrible and refuses to fix issues in apartments, we had a leak for over half the time we were in the apartment and they painted over it and gave us a dehumidifier and said “well the whole roof needs to be replaced so just try to keep the mois... read more
***WARNING!/!!!***FEMALES AND ALL OTHERS CONSIDERED. **BE ADVISE!!! *** This is not a safe place Other Reasons: Water is shut-off all the time, I came home from a summer night work shift. I arrived to my apartment anticipating a nice shower! and the water was shut-off. They gave NO notice. No water to drink or take a shower. Our experience at The Canal Apartments was marked by ongoing stress, poor communication, and a clear lack of respect from InCity Properties. What makes it worse is that we were renting a newly renovated unit—not an old building—yet we faced constant problems that were brushed off as "normal." At one point, 11 holes were drilled straight through our floor without any notice, putting us, our pets, and our property at risk.
