I am a tough grader and don’t leave reviews all the time. But I need to put this out there. I used the new location on Lake Grapevine and can’t say enough good things about The Inboard Shop and Merle the owner / GM for that location. I had a problem and needed help right when they opened that location and Merle is simply outstanding!! Tony is a hands-on, experienced professional who personally went above and beyond to help me diagnose and resolve a persistent issue with my boat. Even on a Sunday morning, he responded to my questions with thoughtful, detailed advice—something you don’t often find these days. Should have paid attention to the reviews. This place is a rip off. I told them I had a blown head gasket which was already known. 2 weeks after being at their shop, they called me to tell me that they had found out that the engine had a blown head gasket. Asked me if I wanted them to move forward and I said yes please that’s why I took it to you. 1 week later they called me asked me if I wanted to move forward, I said yes, I already said that last week.
