I used the new location on Lake Grapevine and can’t say enough good things about The Inboard Shop and Merle the owner / GM for that location. Should have paid attention to the reviews. This place is a rip off. I told them I had a blown head gasket which was already known. 2 weeks after being at their shop, they called me to tell me that they had found out that the engine had a blown head gasket. Asked me if I wanted them to move forward and I said yes please that’s why I took it to you. 1 week later they called me asked me if I wanted to move forward, I said yes, I already said that last week. Save your money and go somewhere else. When i dropped my boat of for a list of things to have done, i was told by the owner it would be ready in 5 days. 3 weeks later and i finally got my boat back. But i only had them do HALF of the work because getting ahold of someone at that place to get a estimate is a joke. i had to call day after day for 2 weeks before work got started. Bought a boat from a guy who dealt with this shop and he just had a “brand new engine” installed from this shop (less than 10 hrs on the engine) with all invoices to show for it. The engine is clearly a poorly re-manned engine and not new. Old gaskets were used, oil has leaked all over it since I bought it and the v-drive is all out of whack. Just your typical dishonest mechanics you can find in every “inboard shop” nowadays
