Uncle Bob Well...I could write a book about this place...back in the day. I was the originator, and am very proud to see it still going after 33+ years. Mr. Abe and crew do an excellent job. Real food takes time to prepare, and they do it so well; in many areas, Macrobiotic, Japanese, Vegan, etc. His fish preparation is much better than mine was. This was the first Japanese restaurant to serve brown rice in LA, that is still operating.
Many choices I've been going to this restaurant since Macrobiotic Diets were popular in the 1970's. It isn't all vegan, but there are many vegan options. There is public parking on the streets around the restaurant.
