I attended imbalance outpatient services back in the early 2000s. It was a terrible experience. It’s horrible for anyone different. Patrick Barraso told me I had to change the way I dressed, told me I couldn’t wear makeup etc. to be able to attend services because my appearance and gender expression was connected to my substance abuse.
