the atmosphere is very, comfortable and DR. Berman is always updated on current treatment plans. He has been my doctor when he was with CVC, and IMS and now Peak heart. I had other cardolist that just went through the motions and did no testing or just the bare minimum
I have been seeing Dr Berman for pre op clear for several orthopedic surgeries from my past athletic career. I was still very active and had bradycardia which I assumed was secondary to my C-V conditioning. However, the resting and exercise HR were getting progressively lower. He asked me zero questions about what I was experiencing during the appointment. Spent less than 5 minutes in the room with me and said that he would bet money that there is nothing actually wrong with my heart.
He is awesome and I will not want to go to any other doctor for my heart issues.
Dr Berman is an awesome doctor and human being! He saved my mother when all other Cardiologists she went to mis-diagnosed her, gave her the wrong medications, had her on too many meds that she didn't need and they were actually making her worse. Her heart was in very bad shape and only functioning at 35%, there was nothing more they could and I was told to get prepared by her heart doctors cuz she wasn't gonna be around long. An absolute gentleman and scholar. He is brilliant, the most competent and qualified physician I have had the pleasure to meet. He genuinely cares about his patients and understands their most basic needs along with their most complicated medical conditions. Dr. Berman is likely the most educated, intelligent and above all caring physician in the State of Arizona, and possible the entire southwest.
He did not listen to my family medical history which includes my late father dying of a heart attack and he ignored my cardiology related symptoms. He ignored the techs who did my tests when they expressed concern for what was happening during my tests. He ignored the results of the tests saying there is nothing wrong with my heart. He outright refused to listen to my questions, cutting me off saying not to question his medical expertise. He yelled at the receptionists out of anger about me.
