I told him about my tremors and the fact that my current meds were not working. He didn't change the meds or address the tremors. He said if you go off your meds you will get holes in your brain. I told him I was still taking the meds, they weren't working. He didn't believe me. I ended up in and out of several hospitals for about a year and a half.

I have been a patient of Dr. Rama for almost 10 years. He’s an excellent care provider and manages meds and treatment well, easy to speak with, kind, compassionate and knowledgeable. My favorite adhd doc in area

Dr. Raja has been a part of my healthcare team for almost five years. He's great at his job and I love that he's very efficient and right to the point, but that being said, I can see how he can come across to some people as unfeeling, or in a rush to get people out of his office. He is not a psychologist or counselor, so he's not going to help get to the root of your problems or be overly empathetic with you, and that's the point of going to a psychiatrist- to deal with the medication side of things! It's true what they say, he types, a lot! But I've never felt rushed, not listened too, and I've never had a problem requesting changes in my medication. When I need to talk, he will let me talk, and offers suggestions. If I'm doing OK, and just needed another round of my meds, I'm more than happy to get out of there earlier than the allotted time. He may not be everyone's cup of tea, but i believe he cares, and I believe he's smart in what he precribes, and knows how certain meds can work in your favor.

I have been in treatment with Dr. Raja for several years, I keep hoping he is going to engage and possibly do something to help with anxiety and depression. I am giving up completely and finding a new doctor. I asked for a slight increase in my medication after 7 years and he put a comment, in red, on my prescription that the current prescription devoids all other refills or prescriptions. I have not lost one pill, asked for an early prescription and have not even been late for a single appointment. I will not recommend him ... read more

There is a reason why he is so easy to get into. Absolutely horrible. He doesnt lookup from his computer. If you are doing well, he just says ok and you will be billed for the entire visit. He makes no eye contact. He is monotone and doesn't care about his patients. Go somewhere else and stay clear of this horrible Dr.

Dr. Raja is uncompassionate, abrasive, hurtful. He does care about watching the clock, getting you out of his office as soon as he possibly can. I will never have him part of my healthcare solution.

Extremely poor treatment provider. Unbelievably unaccommodating and inflexible. Has to refer to FDA websites and has very little knowledge of less common treatments for treatment resistant patients. Is essentually incompotent and seems to simply go through the motions to do the bare minimum to get a paycheck. Has little to no sympathy or individual sincere care or concern for his patience.

It seems he just wants to get you out of the office. At one of my appointments I was in his office literally less than 5 minutes (I had 30 minutes allotted) when he shooed me out because I said I was doing ok, but my bill was the same for a full visit. Cold. Types the whole time instead of listening and hardly looks at you. Feels like he's doing a job instead of actually caring.
