Best Comedy in LA This place is Hollywood's gem for the best comedy around. They do mainly long-form but also sketch and specialty shows. It's a smal intimate theatre that serves great drinks. Go Tuesday night and catch the Harold Teams Powerhouse and Sweetness at 10pm - only $5 - some of the best performers in the city!
Ha Ha Ha Hilarious – highly recommend the opening night musical, hilarious show, they make up the songs and story on the spot, you can buy beer at the bar in the lobby, but the cast is funny with or without being drunk. tickets are $10, but you can get them for $3.50 by signing up for goldstarevents.
You have seen this place on TV This is the legendary Improv. Everyone in comedy plays this place. The best shows are Thursday - Saturday nights, but sometime depanding on who is in towm a really big name will come in and perform a show or two.
Competitive Awesome Rules!!! – Competitive Awesome, the Comedy Duo from Chicago is comming to I.O West in August. I can't wait to se them. THey are amazingly funny. I just love these guys and I love I.O. because of them!

Improv, Sketch, and much more. This relatively young comedy club is one of the most exciting venues for improv in LA. They are chock full o' shows on the mainstage every night as well as a lesser known batch of comedy in the experimental black box theater up the stairs around the side of the club. All this and they have a kicking bar frequented by local comics and actors.
The Lampshades – This show is a must see. It's a bizarre lounge act where the music is combinations of classic songs (ie. Mandy and Brandy) with "sponsors" and guest stars like Mountabank the Mentalist, who will astound you with his amazing Mental acuity. Very very funny.
I O, so good – the best improv in the city. some of the best performers in the city, period. special guests dropping in all the time... (andy dick, tim meadows, etc..)
