I asked my next door neighbors to recommend a mechanic, and they gave me Brady's number -- their little girl goes to school with Brady's. I towed my '97 Ford Aspire (that engine is a Mitsubishi) to him because it wouldn't start. The check engine light had been on for months with some mystery code (another mechanic said it must be a problem with the light!), and it had been skipping and coughing. Trustworthy Mechanic – Brady and his crew are the best. They work hard and always have time to look at my car. Brady is out of my way but I wouldn't trust anyone else with my Subaru. I feel his charges are reasonable too. Prior to finding Brady I was taking my 1993 Subaru to Dan's Auto in Lake Oswego. However, once you see their very nice office you understand why they charge so much.
Don't go anywhere else. – You know how people treat you when they're an old friend to your parents? Thats how Brady is. I won't stop going to him until a) he retires, or b) I don't live in Portand. Seriously, do yourself a favor and don't see anyone else. He's not just just a heck of a mechanic, he's a heck of a guy.
Everything the reviews said and MORE! – Took my car there for the first time today after reading the reviews here on CitySearch. Brady was very personable, honest and definitely seems to be knowlegable! He didn't try and "sell" me on service that I didn't need although I thought I needed it. I will definitely return to them ANYTIME! And my Dad would send me there if he knew Brady and his crew!
We love Import Repair Center! – We have taken our cars to Brady for several years. Recently he helped us with a car purchase for our niece --he gave honest feedback and was helpful during the transaction. He has helped us purchase cars, sell cars and fix our cars. We have found him to be consistent, honest and a pleasure to work with. He is funny and charming which also helps! We will continue to take our cars to him and I know we will be 100% satisfied!
Wonderful Service! Very Reasonable Prices. – I recently sent a car to Devon to have it examined prior to me purchasing it. He didn't recommend the car. Then he let me know that if I had any others cars I wanted him to look at there would be no additional charge. I'm happy to have someone like this to look at cars before I decide to make a big purchase. He was very friendly and what a great deal!
BEST MECHANIC – Brady is so Great!! He is so trustworthy and good at what he does. I would highly highly recommend him to anyone. He is just so good at what he does and easy to work with and talk too. Both my husband and I have always taken all of our cars to him. Feel so lucky to have a mechanic we can trust.

Someone your Dad would send you to – When you are a girl and you get your first car, your Dad always wants to make sure you have the best mechanic. It's usually some guy he's known for years. Well, I'm over thirty and my Dad is 3000 miles away, but if he knew Brady, he'd send me here. Honest, reliable and doesn't jack you around. Great all around
