RecommendedI contacted Mikhail early on Sunday about a possible leak in our roof, and he was here first thing Monday morning (on New Year's eve). He carefully went over the roof and interior of our entryway, and let us know that there wasn't a leak. He came back and went over the area again with a moisture reader to make certain what was visible was previous staining, not new water marks. Mikhail was wonderful, and we plan to go with his company later this year when we need a new roof. Thanks!

Work was good and owner was very professional but there was a major issue immediately after they started the job. I got a call from the owner telling me that the new code in Ann Arbor requires thicker plywood. So, I had to choose between having different sizes or replacing every sheet of plywood and needed to decide right away. What do you do when they've already started ripping your roof apart? Fire them and hope you can find someone to start that day? I decided to replace it all so that was an additional $3,000. Owner work... read more

I'd like to clarify couple of things: at the time of tear off we identified that all of your eave plywood was water damaged and warped due to improper ventilation and bathroom fan discharged all moist air into the attic. We advised you about warped plywood on remainder of roof and still had mildew from bathroom fan discharged moist air into the attic. Imperial Building and Roofing provided very fair and professional service. Their work was done with care and on time for our new roof. We had one miscommunication about facia board replacement but the contractor went with what I understood to be the cost (not what he thought it was) which demonstrated their integrity and customer-focused business. Would highly recommend them.
Great job - replaced roof and 6 skylights all in one day. Not only that, but added a vent and fixed a piece of siding that Mikhail noticed during the bidding process. The team was efficient and polite, and left a clean worksite. Highly recommended!
