Once again, I had exceptional care at AIM Dental. The hygienist took the time to explain-not just state it- the best way to brush my teeth. The dentist also took the time to talk to me about dental health. I really appreciate how comfortable the whole staff makes you feel.

The hygienist was nice, but I felt that she was not listening to me and wasn’t aware of how she was handling my mouth. At the beginning of the visit, I told her I have chronic sensitive teeth, especially in the top right area. She forgot I told her this and proceeded to be very rough with the picking and flossing. And then realized outloud that that’s the spot i told her to be careful of. Also I think the hygienist needs to be more aware of how rough she is being when she does the flossing! The appointment was good and my hygienist was great, but my only complaint comes from the xrays. The tools used scraped the top of my mouth. At the time I was like, oh no big deal, but yesterday I could feel some actual pain in the area. That's my only complaint.
So here I am, a 36 year old construction worker. Embarassed to admit this, but I haven't been to a dentist in 2 decades. Its cause I had an irrational fear of the dentist office from when i was a kid. I basically felt like I was being belittled and degraded cause I wasn't flossing as much as I needed to. So I decided I won't go unless I'm in pain. Well ive decided to give it a try and AIM was suggested as a great place. I took the plunge and couldn't be more satisfied.
